Pudding Roll-ups?!

Oh, this is brilliant. With all the 80s commercials I watch, I can't believe I never heard about this before. Fruit Roll-ups but pudding? What? What is there to say about that?

Circa 1987. One of those moments when I wish I was born 10 years earlier. 5-year-olds can eat chewable pudding, right?

And of course there's the long-lived joke about how the word pudding makes me laugh.

Where's the Beef?

Iconically 80s. I'll let the video talk for itself.

Resurrecting Oreo Big Stuf

I have to write about Oreo Big Stuf again. My original video from an early 2007 post regarding them is no longer available, so i had to replace it with a similar but not quite the same Oreo Big Stuf commercial. *Sigh.* In happier news, which I was searching for a replacement commercial, I stumbled across another Oreo Big Stuf commercial that I also really like. Silver lining, silver lining.

That kid at 0:04 looks like J.T. from Step By Step.

I <3 Oreos.

Dunkaroos!

I have vague memories these. I remember the name, I remember what they tasted like, and I remember this commercial, but I don't remember any specific instances of actually eating them. Seriously, though. Cookies you dip in frosting?? I want some!!

Mikey Likes it

Mikey likes it! I don't know what year...I have to look that up some other time. I'm going to bed now!

I watched Footloose last week, and I guess I liked it, but besides the cool soundtrack, there isn't really anything overly special about it. That girl (the one in the cowboy hat) was so stupid it actually got annoying after a while. I mean, her lack of common sense almost got her killed twice in the first 40 minutes of the movie.

Okay, now that I'm done complaining, I'll say that this was my favorite scene in the movie and one of the few that I thought were memorable. Kevin Bacon gets dared to chicken fight this guy, loses control of the tractor, and wins. It was a defining moment because showing up this guy makes him cool.
